Goulburn-trained ``mighty midget" Miss De Air continues to amaze trainer Ken Callaughan.
``There's nothing of her, she only weighs 420kg and would be lucky to top 15.1 hands, but she tries her bloody heart out," he said.
``I really thought she'd had enough after winning last start but she's continued to eat up and work along so I'll let her go around again at Canterbury (today).
``She keeps surprising me."
Miss De Air, a Chris Munce mount, is a 6/1 chance in the Subway Handicap over 1550m.
Since arriving from her former stables at Wagga, the pint-sized four-year-old mare by Air De France has won four of her seven starts for Callaughan.
Last start at Warwick Farm, Miss De Air kept finding reserves of energy to defeat Seto Gamushara by 11/4 lengths over 1400m in class-record time.
